HMD Kontro GSPX – General Service Petroleum BB5 API 685 Sealless Magnetic Drive Pump
The GSPX sealless magnetic drive pump from HMD Kontro is a multi-stage leak-free pump for safe and efficient high-differential processing and is particularly suitable for the handling of hazardous and valuable hydrocarbons and chemicals.
It uses proven magnetic drive technology and produces higher differential pressure than single-stage sealless models.
The pump is built to API 685 specifications and is suitable for petrochemical processing, petroleum production and refining, offshore and chemical processing applications complying with all industry specifications. The GSP is typically used in toxic, aggressive, hot, crystallising and high value processes.
Its sealless design delivers total product containment and its interchangeable components and commonality with the GSP pump range maximise convenience and reduce spare parts holding.
The GSPX delivers in terms of space, costs and servicing when compared with standard single stage pumps. It has high head performance in a compact sealless magnetic drive package providing more safety and efficiency and maximum uptime. It also has an optimised diffuser design and optional ZeroLoss®composite containment shell and thus eliminates coupling losses and heating of the process liquid.
